Full Press and Clean
A dry cleaning process will ensure the maximum amount of cover dirt and grime will be removed. Please note not all discolouration of the cover is dirt or grime that can be removed, sometimes a cover has undergone certain chemical reactions over the years which causes such discoloration as tanning and foxing, moreover stains may also not be improved. Although, due to certain new techniques Comic Press maybe able to evaluate and improve stains on your books covers, if you would like to enquire about these services please get in touch, note they are not part of the standard clean and press price.
Pre-press work to improve and limit finger bends, creases, ding, dents, crunches, etc is now undertaken.
This is then followed by a heat pressing to remove creases and indentations, etc. This is not limited to just one press, as multiple passes maybe needed to reach the best possible results. You will not incur extra costs for extra pressing.
